Welcome to the site dedicated to all of us that have become or are on way to become a jack-of-all-trades (JOAT) for one reason or another. For me, my father is a JOAT, so I learned many of my physical trades from him (i.e. working on cars, home improvement, etc…). Like most kids, I started college with no direction and no real passion for any particular field of study, so I looked at what careers paid well and were in high demand…and I took many classes from multiple colleges.

Ultimately, I become a thick-client developer and once that field started to lose demand I shifted my focus and my career to web development. This currently satisfies my need for the mentally challenging aspect of life. As far as the work I truly enjoy…well like a true JOAT, it depends on the day. We’re passionate and curious about everything, but we don’t have the time nor the interest to worry about the small ‘stuff’. We’re highly efficient up to 90%; as far as the last 10%, we let the OCD-driven folks finish the project.

With that said, I hope that this website helps you to either complete some project or to try something new. Enjoy!
